THE KILLER WORE GLOVES (1974)

London artist Peggy is worried about her boyfriend Michael, a journalist who is away in Vietnam covering the war. Peggy and Michael have been out of touch with each other for months. In Michael's absence, Peggy rents her upstairs loft to John Kirk Lawford, a friend of a friend. When Peggy receives a mysterious phone call from Michael telling her to meet him at an abandoned airplane hanger, she is nearly murdered by a gloved assassin. Peggy then returns home and finds that her new tenant is dead. Things get even stranger when another man appears at Peggy's door, claiming to be the real John Kirk Lawford. Who wants Peggy dead? Where is Michael? Which is the real John Kirk Lawford? And why is there a suitcase full of money stashed in Peggy's hamper?
